12. Instagram & Meta Platform Data
Oye Creators operates an automated assistant ("the Assistant") on our official Instagram Business account, using Meta's Instagram Messaging API, to help source and onboard creators through direct messages.
- Data received via Meta's platform. When you message our Instagram account, the Assistant may receive your Instagram-scoped user ID, your public Instagram handle, and the content of the messages you send it.
- How this data is used. This information is used solely to respond to your messages, collect the sourcing details described in Section 1 of this Policy (niche, follower count, and contact method), and guide you through onboarding if you're accepted as a creator. It is not used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond what is disclosed in this Policy.
- Storage and security. Data received via Meta's platform is stored and protected under the same safeguards described in Section 6 of this Policy and is subject to the same retention limits described in Section 5.
- No selling or unauthorized sharing. As with all personal data described in this Policy, information received via Meta's APIs is never sold and is only shared with the limited parties described in Section 3.
- Your rights. You may request access to or deletion of data collected through your Instagram conversation with our Assistant the same way described in Section 4.1 of this Policy—by emailing help@oyecreators.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request."
- Compliance. Our use of information received via Meta's APIs complies with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies.
