Age Restriction & Child Safety Policy

7. Children & the DPDP Act, 2023

7.1 Under Section 2(f) of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, a "child" is an individual who has not completed eighteen years of age. Our platform is not offered to children, and we do not knowingly process a child's personal data.

7.2 Where, exceptionally, processing of a child's personal data would be required, Section 9 of the Act obliges us to obtain verifiable consent from the parent or lawful guardian before processing. We do not currently operate any feature that relies on such consent; if we introduce one, this Policy and the Privacy & Cookies Policy will be updated before it goes live.

7.3 We do not undertake tracking, behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising directed at children, and we do not knowingly process a child's personal data in a way that is likely to cause any detrimental effect on their well-being.

7.4 Enterprise Clients may not use the platform to direct a campaign at children, to collect personal data from children, or to brief content intended primarily for an audience under eighteen. This is a term of the Enterprise Client Terms & Conditions and a breach is indemnified under the Mutual Indemnity Agreement.

8. Age Assurance Measures

8.1 In addition to self-declaration at registration, we apply the following measures proportionate to the risk:

• collection and validation of date of birth at onboarding, with registration blocked where the stated age is under eighteen;
• identity and PAN verification before any payout is released, which independently establishes that the account holder is an adult;
• review of an account where reported signals, content or profile information suggest the holder may be under eighteen;
• prevention of re-registration using the same verified identifiers following removal for age reasons.

8.2 We do not use biometric age estimation or facial analysis for age assurance.

8.3 A Creator's audience may lawfully include people of any age. These measures concern the age of the account holder, not the composition of their audience.

9. Content Created by, or Featuring, a Minor

9.1 Where we become aware that campaign content was created by a person under eighteen, the content is removed from the platform, the associated account is closed, and any pending payout is withheld and dealt with in accordance with law.

9.2 Where campaign content features a child — for example a family creator filming with their own children — the Creator is responsible for obtaining the consent of every parent or lawful guardian concerned, and for complying with any applicable rules on the participation of children. Enterprise Clients must not brief content that places a child in an unsafe situation or that uses a child to endorse a product where such endorsement is restricted.

9.3 Advertising directed at or featuring children must comply with the Advertising Standards Council of India guidelines on advertising to children, and with the restrictions applicable to specific categories, including food and beverage, gaming, financial products, alcohol and tobacco.

10. International Provisions

10.1 United States: Our services are not directed to children under thirteen, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Where we learn that such information has been collected, it is deleted. A parent or guardian may contact us to review or request deletion of any such information.

10.2 European Economic Area and United Kingdom: Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies and processing relies on consent, the age of digital consent in the relevant Member State applies. Because our platform is restricted to adults, we do not rely on parental consent in these territories.

10.3 Nothing in this Section extends the availability of the platform to anyone under eighteen.

11. Reporting, Escalation & Records

11.1 Reports that a minor has registered, or that content involving a child is unsafe, are treated as priority and are reviewed within one working day of receipt.

11.2 Reports may be made to Support@ttlmedia.in with the subject line "Minor Access Report", through the Grievance Redressal process, or on WhatsApp using the number published on the Contact page.

11.3 Where content involves apparent harm to a child, we remove it on receipt, preserve the minimum record required for reporting, and refer the matter to the appropriate authority where the law requires us to do so.

11.4 We maintain a record of reports received and action taken, retained in accordance with the Data Retention Policy.
