India Creator Rate Index

There is no official rate card for Indian creators — only agency guides that disagree by several times over. We put seven of them in one table, dated and linked, and publish no rate of our own.

Seven rate cards, one table

There is no official rate card for Indian creators. What exists is a scatter of guides published by agencies and platforms, each with its own numbers and none with a method you can check. We read 7 of them, pulled out what each says a single Instagram Reel costs, and put them side by side. Every figure links back to the page it came from.

We publish no rate of our own here. Oye Creators runs campaigns, so our own numbers would be marketing. The comparison is the useful part.

Tier cut-offs differ slightly between sources; we have mapped each to the nearest band above. Figures are for one creator-posted Reel with no usage rights or whitelisting, which every source prices separately.

The midpoint of all seven

Taking the median low and the median high across every source gives the planning range below. Treat it as the middle of published opinion, not as evidence of what anyone actually paid.

Nano1K–10K

₹1,000–₹10,000

Micro10K–100K

₹8,000–₹75,000

Mid-tier100K–500K

₹50,000–₹3,50,000

Macro500K–1M+

₹2,00,000–₹8,50,000

Three things the table shows that no single guide does

1. The numbers are largely one set, repeated

6 of the 7 guides give exactly ₹3,50,000 as the mid-tier ceiling, and 5 give exactly ₹8,000 as the micro floor. Independent estimates do not land on identical round numbers. The most likely explanation is that these figures have been copied forward from a small number of earlier posts, which means seven sources agreeing is not seven pieces of evidence.

2. Almost nobody will say where the numbers come from

Only 1 of 7 states any sample size, and even that one does not describe how the data was collected or verified. The rest are explicit that these are benchmarks rather than observed prices — RuleScale says plainly that no official rate card exists and that published guides disagree by several times over.

3. The spread inside a tier beats the spread between tiers

A nano Reel is quoted anywhere from ₹500 to ₹12,000, and a micro Reel from ₹5,000 to ₹80,000 — the bands overlap heavily. Follower count is a weak predictor of price. Engagement, niche, city and usage rights move the number far more, which is why a flat per-follower formula will mislead you in both directions.

How to use this if you are planning a budget

Use the midpoint range to size a budget, then expect to negotiate inside it on evidence rather than tier. Three practical notes drawn from the same sources:

What is still missing — including from us

Not one Indian source publishes rates drawn from completed transactions. The only transaction-level creator pricing we could find anywhere is global and in dollars: OpenSponsorship published medians across 1,527 paid deliverables for deals created between January 2025 and June 2026, and Collabstr reported marketplace averages across more than 21,000 collaborations. Neither breaks out India.

That gap is the honest state of the category. We are not filling it on this page either — when we publish rates from campaigns run on Oye Creators, we will say so plainly, with the sample size and the period attached.

Method, and how to correct us

We searched for Indian creator rate cards published or updated in 2026, took the 7 that give explicit rupee figures by tier for an Instagram Reel, and recorded each range exactly as published together with its date and whatever the page says about its own method. Where a source gives several figures for one tier we took the one labelled as a single creator-posted Reel. No figure here is ours, and nothing has been averaged into a source’s own row.

Last checked 30 October 2026. If we have misread your rate card, or you publish one that belongs here, write to Support@ttlmedia.in and we will correct or add it.

Every source above sells influencer marketing services, as do we. None is independent research. That is precisely why we think seeing all of them at once is more useful than trusting any one.

Frequently asked

How much does a nano influencer cost in India?

Published guides put a single Instagram Reel from a nano creator (1,000–10,000 followers) between ₹500 and ₹12,000. The median across the 7 sources we compared is ₹1,000–₹10,000. None of those sources publishes rates from completed transactions, so treat the range as planning guidance rather than a market price.

How much does a micro influencer cost in India?

For a creator with 10,000–100,000 followers, published figures for one Reel run from ₹5,000 to ₹80,000, with a median band of ₹8,000–₹75,000. Notably 5 of 7 guides quote the same ₹8,000 floor, which suggests the figure has been copied between sources rather than measured independently.

Is there an official influencer rate card in India?

No. No industry body, regulator or research house publishes one. Every rupee figure in circulation comes from an agency or platform blog, and those disagree by several times over for the same tier. This page exists to show that disagreement rather than hide it behind a single number.

Why do Indian influencer rate cards disagree so much?

Three reasons. They measure different things — some quote with usage rights, some without. They have no shared tier definitions. And most state no method at all, so there is nothing to reconcile. Within a tier, engagement rate, niche, city and rights move price far more than follower count does.

Does Oye Creators publish its own rates?

Not on this page. We run campaigns, so our own figures would be marketing rather than evidence. When we do publish rates drawn from campaigns on the platform, we will state the sample size and the period alongside them.
